In order to get your G1 license, you will have to be at least 16 years old. After that, you have to reach your nearest driving center in Ontario and take a MCQ knowledge test. The test contains a total of 40 questions divided into two sections containing 20 questions each. The first section will contain road sign questions, and the other sections will contain road rules. You have to pay a fee of $158.25 for the testing package, which consists of G1, G2, and G license test fees. Additionally, if you fail the written knowledge test, you have to pay $15.75 in order to get an extra attempt and pass a vision test before starting the MCQ exam. The graduated driver's license program in Ontario will take you around 2 years to complete, and you will receive your full G license.
